SFC Efrain Vega (Ret) Obituary

SFC Efrain “John” Vega (Ret) of Ozark, Alabama passed away April 10, 2024. He was 72.

Memorial Services will be by cremation.

Efrain was born April 30, 1951 in Bronx, New York to Efrain and Monserra Vega, who both preceded him in death. Efrain loved serving in the U.S. Army and did so for 21 years. The adventures of military life lead him to Germany where he met a young lady from England who he would fall in love with, his bride of 31 years.

Survivors include his wife Cressa Vega; children Barbara Casuso (Rick), Hunter Vega, Atom Vega and Sheena Akins; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; best friend James Montgomery and caregiver Katie Ware, to whom we would like to, give special thanks.
